This commission came to me about a year ago with the wedding being cancelled in August 2020 due to Covid. The wedding has now been arranged for August 2021 but never one to leave things to the last minute I wanted to get this beautiful commission completed. It’s been in the planning stages for months now so it was time too get to the bench and start the making process.
This was something very different for me. The wedding band had to fit with the engagement band which was also one of my sea glass creations bought in the incredible Lime Kiln Gallery in Calstock. Not having access to the engagement ring, I had to design something unique and individual yet incorporating the existing ring. I decided to create stacking rings, one for the top and one mirrored on the bottom too. A bit of symmetry. The two fused band give enough room then for the existing ring to overlap. Ann can wear them as she chooses!

I hope Ann loves it as much as I’ve loved designing it.
Due to the nature of how sea glass is formed and then beachcombed, all my jewellery varies slightly from one piece to another creating a unique item for the wearer to treasure. Colours and shape of sea glass may vary but I try and match each nugget to a partner.
All my jewellery is hand crafted which means every item has its own individual quality.
Naturally tumbled ocean sea glass beachcombed along the South Devon coast.
